Bring the guitar, its case or gig bag, the strings you want used, and every loose part involved in the requested work. For active or powered gear, include the relevant battery, power supply, or cable.
Protect it in transit
Use a fitted hard case or supportive gig bag, secure loose accessories, and keep the instrument away from impact, moisture, and prolonged temperature extremes during transport.
